Siri Unofficially Ported to iPhone 4 and iPod Touch

November 3rd, 2011 by douceswild

Every since Sire, the personal assistant voice feature on the iPhone S was released, attempts to port it to the iPhone 4 and Touch have been almost successful. But it looks like it's finally been pulled off!

Moments like this make me glad that I didn't purchase an iPhone 4S. I decided to stick with my iPhone 4 even though I love the Siri feature. Developer Steven Troughton-Smith has given me hope (although a possible Jailbreak hope) that I will eventually have Siri on my iPhone 4. After some struggle to penetrate Apple's server to get Siri to respond to requests and commands, Steven was finally able to make it work. Check out the video.
