I'd Like My Tablet TAT'd

Tablets are flooding the market these days. My problem is that we have so many revolutionary devices, but the UI always falls short in my opinion.
This video is definitely a step in the direction I would love to see electronic UI's move towards. Behind the design is The Astonishing Tribe (TAT). The creators assisted Google in the development of the original Android UI on the G1. Although I'd love to see this on a cell phone, it seems more fitted for a tablet. I seriously hoped this doesn't get scrapped.
